Upgrade the apache tomcat embedded in Integration Framework

Hi all,

One of our customers has SAP Business One 10 FP2102 and Integration Framework (version 1.22.34 which is from that package) installed in separated servers. Due to security reasons the customer requires to upgrade the version of the Apache Tomcat which is running the B1iF service at least to version 8.5.94. The version of Tomcat that is installed with B1iF is 8.5.51 but the challenge is Tomcat is embedded in the B1iF installation.

Is it possible to upgrade to a newer version the Apache Tomcat embedded in the B1iF Server?

Hi RicardoRenteria,

SP2308 SecPatch 1 for SAP Business One version 10.0 has Tomcat version 8.5.94 in B1i.

Similarly, FP2502 HF1 for SAP Business One version 10.0 has Tomcat version 10.1.34 in B1i.

However, we advise against upgrading Tomcat without also upgrading your SAP Business One version, as this could potentially impact system compatibility and stability.

We suggest planning an upgrade to SP2308 SecPatch 1 or a later version to resolve the issue.
