Hello,
We want to know how to get to ECC 6, EHP 8 on NW 7.50 with HANA or ASE (for both database choices) from the current status using SUM DMO.
I am assuming it will need to be in two steps.
Is it ERP 6 EHP8 that we should upgrade and follow the guides/PAM/maintenance planer? I can not find ECC6 EHP8 info.
Curent level of landscape:
NW 700 SPS13
SAP ECC 6.0 SPS09
Kernel 721 - PL40
ORACLE - 11.2.0.4.0
Thanks
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Boris,
Currently we are on ECC 6.0 Ehp4, non Unicode, and plannig for upgrading to Ehp8 n/w7.5 , can we use DMO in the SUM tool to do both Upgrade+Unicode conversion together .

Thank you Frank and Boris.
Now I have a better picture of the situation.
Our main question is: Can we go to target with one step? Or two steps are mandatory.
- Source is Unicode,
- does not yet has an ASCS, and
- it has only one instance

I was checking PAM, but there is no "upgrade to" for ECC 6.0.
Also from ERP 6.0 there is no "Upgrade to" ERP 6.0 EHP 8:

Hello Bledar,
yes, you should follow the guides for SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 8, and use SUM 2.0.

Hello Bledar,
There are a few aspects to consider when upgrading to EhP8 and you are right, it might not be a possible in one step, depending whether you are already on Unicode or not. If you like, please check this excellent blog by boris.rubarth:
