Hi,

We're trying to upgrade from SAP R/3 4.6C to ECC 6.00 under NT environment, having Oracle as database. During the preparation phase, we got the following error, and in our current SAP system R/3 we have 2 additional languages NL and FR (EN and DE are already in), can you please explain why this phase is blocking in this step, and if I continue I've to do a full language import, thanks in advance.

It seems, that your CD labels are not recognized.

What is the content of LABEL.ASC on the first language CD (s:\export\data\cdlan1\LABEL.ASC)

Hi Markus,

the label of this CD is :

SAP:ECC:600SR1:DVD_LANGUAGE(1/1):SAP ERP 2005 SR1 Language DVD:D51031800_1

Thanks for your support.

And what´s the content LANG2/LABEL.ASC?

SAPup says "no matching label"...

The content of S:\export\Data\CDLAN1\LANG2\LABEL.ASC is "SAP:ECC:600:LANGUAGE(2/6):SAP ERP 2005 SR1 Language CD:CD51030xxx"

I just saw your trace file is looking for "AOXUPGR" and not for the languages, this is the wrong part.

Search for the string

"Searching for Data Carrier labeled LANGUAGE" and look in the trace file there.

Yes, it's exact, but I've looked for all references about AOXUPGR but nothing, and what the meaning of this argument. Do you think that I've to copy again all the languages CD's and restart a new PREPARATION ? now the preparation has been finished, can I restart a new one, and is there some updates on the current system ?

Thanks, regards,

you can go on - but you won´t be able to work with FR and NL before you didn´t import them into the target system. You also need to apply the language dependent parts of the support packages you bound during PREPARE.

The system will function though.

Hello

We have the same problem, in cdtrace.log and i think is related with the latest version of FIXERP2005SR3 level 23 and last SAPup. AOXUPG is a label for TDMS component, at least. It comes up in one of our systems that got TDMS implemented but also in another one without TDMS.

I think is an extra check in sapup that is working badly, but we worry about how is going to end our upgrade (we are lucky we are testing).

Hope we got some info form SAP, but we are in a hurry and we cannot stop to wait SAP to solve it.

Cheers
