Hi Team,
There are some custom fields which were added to a Software collection along with some "Scope Extension" items and send to Test system and imported there.
Is there anyway we can unlock those custom fields objects from that Software collection and add it to a new separate one for exporting and importing again?
What happens if we "Delete" the old software collection from the "Customizing System"? Is there any KBA for this?

Dear Customer,
If you only want to export and import again the Custom Fields, you can make the changes that you want and simply re-transport the Software Collection that they are included. Once you change the Custom Fields in the source system, they will get the status "Changed" in the Software Collection and once you export the Software Collection, it will generate a new version (different than the first transport) and you will be able to re-import it in the target system.
Now, if you want to move the Custom Fields from a Software Collection to another, you can use the Move Items functionality described in SAP Help Portal | Move Items.
It's only fine to delete a Software Collection if there are no items inside of it anymore.
You can check KBA 3126032 - Export/import Software Collections in S/4HANA Cloud - Frequently Asked Questions
Kind regards,
SAP Support.
