Understanding splits CA02

Hello all,

I am doing some splits to some production orders but before I finish this I need to understand one thing.

What does exactly mean the Minimum processing time (economical splitting)? What time do i need to put in this field?

Hello Jay,

I am stil having some doughts about the minimum processing time.

Example:

1000 pcs

8,08 min/pc

what should be my minimum processing time for me to have the minimum number of splits?

Can you help me with this?

hai jose,

you have to produce 1 piece and say it takes processing time 8.08 mins ,

you have to produce 1000 pieces , so my processing time is 1000 * 8.08 /1 =8080 mins ..

consider you have 3 individual capacities maintained in work center so processing time is 1000*8.08/1/3 = 2,693.33 mins.
