Unable to uninstall add-on from "Add/Remove programs".

I got a message when I tried to unstall add-on which is developed on vs2003 with B1DE:

An exception occurred while unstalling. This exception will be ignored and the uninstall will continue. However, the application might not be fully uninstalled after the uninstall is complete. --> Object reference not set ro an instance of an object.

Maybe it is not right way to unstall add-on through "Add/Remove Programs"?

Hi,

you are right unistalling addon through "Add/Remove programs" is not a right way, always uninstall addon through SAP.

go in adminstration -> addon adminstration and remove addon from there and close the sap.

when u restart your sap again, it will automatically start uninstallation of addon.

I DID uninstall addon through B1 and got this error message during the uninstallation.

I found the addon is gone in B1 addon administration but still in the "add/remove programs"

so I tried to uninstall it through "add/remove programs" manually.

I can not reinstall this addon unless the previous one has been uninstalled.
