Unable to Start HTTPS on 443

Hi all

We are unable to Change the Port number to 443 from 44300 in S4 HANA System. The System Says "Service HTTPS on port 0 Could not be Started.

We need our Fiori Launhpad / SAPGUI for HTML to run on port 443.
Please help Us.!

1. Increase file icmbnd permissions
2. Add extbind=1 to icm/server_port_XX

Hi Sai,

judging from the dummy.nodomain that is partially visible in your screenshot, you are using the S/4HANA Fully-Activated Appliance.

There is a guide how to switch the https port to 443 on this page > A Demo Guides > Technical.

This guide describes how to switch the web dispatcher port from 44301 --> 443 (and leaves the existing connection into ICM) so it's a bit different to your approach of changing the ICM port 44300 -> 443 directly but I hope it helps nevertheless.

Thanks for your Response.
Yes We are able to Change the Port No in HTTPURLLOC . We changed it to 443. but We are unable to Chnage the Port number in SMICM.
Still Fiori Launchpad / SAPGUI for HTML running on port 44300.
Please Help Futhur...if you can.

Try selecting "Use External Binding Program", that might bring icmbind into the picture if everything is set up correctly...

We tried to do the Same.but no Luck.. Still the System Says "Service HTTPS on port 0 Could not be Started."
