Unable to create BP using manage workforce in S4Hana Cloud

Hi,

unable to create /Upload manually BP Id in Q-Tenant and getting the below error.

"Editing is restricted to edit go to the original data source"

is that possible to restrict the API updating workforce entries manually in the Q system because we have a CPI integration which performs Workday minimaster data ( update status from Active to Inactive and remove business role assignments) API which we performing in CPI is SAP_COM_0301.

Can anybody let me know on above please.

Hi Ravalika, are you able to find any solution for this issue? Once the Workforce is edited via API, it is not allowing to change via Manage Workforce app further which is needed for the client to maintain some fields with user discretion.

Hi Poola,

any workforce channel (e.g. SOAP API in SAP_COM_0301) will automatically create Business Partners in S4HC alongside the workforce data.
It is not possible to enrich Business Partners created another way with workforce data.
