Unable to add fields in CT04

While creating the class characteristics in CT04, in the additional data tab we have selected the Z table that we have created for the field "Table Name". But when we try to add the field name system gives the error message "No objects matched the selection criteria". Can anyone help on how we can add the fields from the Z table.

Custom table need to be activated to add table and field to CT04. 

If this is not Your case -> send me more details for table (Definition, status etc) and characteristic which You want to create.
