Unable Time Recording Changes on SAP Public Cloud- Professional Services

Hi SAP Community,

We are currently working on a SAP Public Cloud – Professional Services greenfield implementation. The customer does not have payroll integration and intends to use SAP data to perform payroll in another system.

The configuration we would like to implement is to restrict the ability to adjust timesheets for previous payroll weeks. Specifically, we want to prevent modifications in the “Manage My Timesheets” app for the two weeks prior to the current working week.

In exploring the configuration option “Maintain Data Entry Profile (S/4HANA: SCIUSS: 102509)”, we have found the “No changes after approval” setting but have not identified additional scope items to handle this specific requirement.

Do you have any insights on the feasibility of this? Our intent is not to block entire weeks, but only the past two weeks relative to the current working period.

Please check the BADI: HCM_CATS_V1_B_TS_VALIDATION

You should be able to add required validation here and throw errors to user.
