UI API server is unavailable, the installation process will not start!

Hello Experts!

SBO VERSION IS: 2007A SP01 PL05

We are trying to install a partner solution's ADDON and we recives Error message:

"UI API server is unavailable, the installation process will not start"

I have deleted the folder: SM_OBS_DLL from temp folder

But it didnt helped...

Your help please...

I am facing the exact same error while trying to acess SAP B1 from Web Browser (by using Google Chrome).

After that, my Addons are not connected.

We still get this error in 2024 (SLD Version: 1000200) - but I am not seeing the thread you are referring to, Ashutosh, as I believe this site content has been reformulated.

In my case it was enough to log on in windows as a real(!) Administrator and start SAP "as Administrator" anyway.

This is a "maybe" and must not be related to all systems.

I think it depends on the windows UAC settings but another one may explain that better.....
