UD status not changing while reversing UD

We are using  a T-code ZUD_REV which is based on the standard SAP report RQEVAC50. But after running this T code we are only able to reverse the stock posting and status of UD stays as it is and it doesn't change. Where as we want UD reversal with stock reversal and status reversal in system. How can we achieve this? Do we have any standard way in system to do it?

thank you for the details provided.

Just for clarification, the report RQEVAC50 is also not part of the standard, but a modification (from SAP Note 175842).
