Transportation Management for own fleet

Good morning/afternoon,

We have a business scenario for transportation management.

In our scenario, our customer owns a large number of vehicles for delivery purposes, where they don’t charge anything for freight. As per our business requirement, we don’t need a subcontracting process.

Additionally, we have an intercompany sales and STO process (1HO and 1P9), which is not supported by SAP S/4HANA Cloud Transportation Management. We would also like to see truck availability.

Would this be possible in the standard system?

Not sure if I understood the requirement correctly, the plan is to use TM only for planning? and no settlement since its own carrier/fleet.

Hello Kiran

Yes, we only want to perform planning without incurring any charges. However, we are unable to achieve this in the standard Transportation Management.

Hello Vivek,

I am assuming you are having issues with freight order status without need for such subcontracting and settlement functions. Have you checked the subcontracting relevance setting of freight order?
