Transport descriptions of classes and characteristics

Hello,

does anybody know how to transport descriptions of classes and characteristics already maintained in development system?

In transactions CL02 and CT04 I can maintain descriptions in various languages (e.g. in German language) for classes and characteristics respectively. But after saving changes no dialog box pops up which allows me to assign new description to a transport request and finally to transport it to the test system.

Hello @KonS 

Classes and characteristics are master data. As such they are not transportable - you can't transport them the same way as configuration is transported.

However you can replicate them with ALE/IDoc scenarios - see the note 45951 - Transporting class data: system / client
