Hello,
Is there an app or method to select a production order's bill of materials in SAP so that a pick list is generated within SAP and can be transferred from a warehouse to the production facility?
Currently, we are using Transfer Stock - Cross Plant/In-Plant to move materials one at a time from the PDF that is created from Production Orders. This is time consuming. Is there a Post Goods Movement function for an entire production order?
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Luke,
It'll require some testing and a few settings, but I think the approach to this is to set up the various component materials (in app: Create/Change Material - Tab: MRP 2) with the right Procurement Type and Special Procurement type. Check out the ones for Stock transfer (40 and 45). With these settings and an MRP run I believe you can get a stock transfer order (basically a purchase order from plant to plant) to be created from the production order you've created. This stock transport order can be used to trigger a delivery out of the component supplying plant against which you can do the picking and PGI - then receive against that stock transport order in your receiving plant (where you will do the production).
You can find more documentation on the special procurement types etc. on help.sap.com in case needed.
I hope this helps!
