Transfer Project Subcontracting stock (R) to Project owned stock (Q)

Hello all! I've looked through the questions and help pages, and not found an answer, so here it goes:

I would like to transfer project subcontracting stock (special stock indicator R) to owned project stock (special stock indicator Q), in the correct warehouse.

I would use MIGO with the 542 movement, but it only works on common stock, not project stock, there is no 542 R or Q...

So what movement code should I use? If none works, should I transfer the R stock to O stock, then 542, then [] to Q? If so, what movement code should I use to do the project subcontracting stock to common subcontracting stock?

Thanks!

Hi All,

I have found soultion for this and worked for me.

Go to MIGO>>Settings>>default setting : "Propose All Items".

or you can add the 542 R also in the list if neeed.

Thanks

hi, unfortunately the chargeback could not be carried out so easily. One possibility is to reverse the previous document. In the customer case, an EWM is connected which had carried out the outbound delivery. This meant that the documents first had to be reversed in EWM (goods issue in EWM). The material was then returned to the original storage location in the goods issue bin in EWM.

Hello,

The reversal in EWM returns all the stock posted on that delivery. That solution won't work in our scenario, we just want to recover the extra material not consumed by the subcontractor.

Okay, I understand the problem. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a solution for this particular scenario. However, I will have to deal with this issue again in the near future and if we find a solution I will report back here.
