Transfer Data from IDoc to Inspection Lot (QM-IM-IL)?

Hi Experts, Can some share how to enable the process Transfer Data from IDoc to Inspection Lot (QM-IM-IL)? Our client is having a requirement that certificate of analysis containing results will be received electronically (like a PDF) & the results from the certificate of analysis needs to be copied/transferred to the inspection lot 01 which will be created upon GR. How can this be enabled? Can some one please advise on the end-to-end flow from a design/solution perspective involving IDOCs?

Or, if you have some specific requirements which cannot be handled by standard SAP, you can of course create a custom processing code and build you logic around FM BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS.
