Hi
In advance we want to block \ reserve the stock for customer, even before the sales order for customer is created.
Currently our client uses functionality of product allocation( Maximum quantity customer can get in time period) and product reservation ( Minimum assured quantity to customer ) to achieve this through Z transaction but this allocation and reservation doesnu2019t reflects in standards SAP reports of planning. So we are losing visibility of stock situation from perspective of planning.

Dear Karthick
It should be MB1A movement type 292 W
But after this reservation it has to be reversed back as MB1A is goods issue without SD delivery
These stocks cant be used for SD process at all later
Better option would be MB1B movement type 344 which will block stocks and subsequently by using the appropriate movement type you can convert in to sales order stocks in MB1B itself
For reserving under a customers name and the same you want to see in MMBE it is MB1A movement type 292 W
Mr.Lakshmipathi i got little confused with this requirement
Thanks for the correction and it is movement type 292 not 291
291 is for reversal (i tested it)

Raja

Sorry it should have been MB1A and of course, the movement remains the same (291 / W).
Mr.Raja - as you would be aware 561 or 561W should be used only for stock initial upload and what the requirement is to reserve the existing stock.
thanks

TCode:::::::::::::::::::MB1C
Movement Type:::::291 / W
Once you completed the above process, stock will not reduce from Unrestricted but the respective quantity will be reserved for that customer.
thanks

Very wrong answers in my opinion on this one.
Sending it to W stock will make it customer property and not just reserved for customer.
Better post it to E stock to a dummy sales order number (if no SO exists).
