Time Phased Planning with MRP

Hello,

We want to use time phased planning with MRP, so that we plan the material every Tuesday to be delivered on Friday.

We created a Z MRP type copy of standard time phase plannning type and selected the MRP requirements.

Next, we maintain the planning cycle as Tuesday and Plannning calendar as Friday (Delivery Cycle) on the material master record.

Issue is, when we run MRP on Sunday, the materials is being planned and system is creating the PR's even though the planning cycle shows that the material should be planned on Tuesday only and we checked the Planning file entry and it shows Tuesday as well, not sure why system is planning this material on Sunday MRP run, can you please advice what we are missing.

Hello

During the planning run you can define a different planning date, so even materials for which the planning date is in the future can be planned today. So you check what was the planning date defined in your last MRP run.

But i dont want the materials with future planning day to be planned on current date.

We are using the MD01 to run the planning across the plant and we use the planning date as current date, but the system is still planning the materials with future date, which we do not want.

Hello Caetano,

Do we need to copy R1 and tick MRP Ind. Forecast in OMDQ ?
Or can we use R1 out of the box ? For R1 forecast indicator is set to optionnal.

Once i ran the MDAB job then everything worked our fine, i think for some reason the planning file entry was not refreshed correctly i believe.
