Hi Experts,

I am exploring & building my understanding for writing TIME MANAGEMENT PCR & SCHEMAs.

Will you be able to provide me any reference link if you have with you which will help in deep diving.

I have gone through few of the links over the net & videos but those are very basic & mostly connected with Payroll process PCR.

Even many of the links available on SCN are not accessible & expired.

Please help me.

Thanks

Hi,

Following are the few links of vivek.barnwal2 who is a great mentor on time management.

https://blogs.sap.com/2014/08/15/time-types-the-dna-of-time-pcrs/

https://blogs.sap.com/2015/05/12/master-the-art-of-writing-time-pcrs/

His great blogs are still alive & useful.

regards

Bala

I believe that the best way to learn about Schemas and Rules is to execute Time Evaluation for one employee, with the "Display log" box checked, and to drill down into that log. When you do it in Test mode, if you enter the same date in the field for "Forced recalculation as of" and in the field "Evaluation up to", you are able to study the inputs, processing and outputs relating to that day.

Also visit the Time Management Wiki page on this site, read the documentation on Time Functions and Operations through pe04, look for documentation on help.sap.com or sap-press.com, and see if SAP is still offers a course on Rules and Schema.

Thanks Remi,

Your input really helped but I am not able to mark the answer as accpet as system is not accepting it.

My sincere thanks to you.

Hi Remi,

Thanks for the link, it looks effective.

Hi Bala,

I have gone through the blogs & gathered some information as well.

Well the documents talk about functions & operation, it look odd to ask but what are the symbols used for e.g = set , ? etc.

I am wondering on these a bit, would you guys be able to help me with this.

Thanks.
