Time event confirmations for process orders with CORZ

Hello,

we would like to use time event confirmations for process orders with transaction CORZ.

Our master recipe has one operation with two phases:

1. Set-up
2. Production

On the calculation tab of the resource are six activities:

1. Set-up time machine (no activity type)
2. Set-up time staff (activity type: Staff time)
3. Production time machine (activity type: Machine time)
4. Production time staff (activity type: Staff time
5. Downtime machine (no activity type)
6. Downtime staff (Activity type: Staff time)

I assigned the recording type group "Processing" to the activities 3 and 4.

The recording type group "Setup" is also available. But it is not taken into account in transaction CORZ. So I didn´t assignt this recording type.

The activities 3 and 4 can be calculated automatically with time event confirmations.

Regarding the other acitivities I I would like to ask the following questions.

• Is it correct that we cannot use time event confirmations to calculate the downtime of machines automatically? For example by using the activity "Interrupt processing". Do we need to calculate it manually and post it as a variable activity? Or do we need to configure SAP PM for this requirement?
• How can I post set-up time with time event confirmations via CORZ? Do we need to calculate it manually and post it as a variable activity? In CO19 there are more options for the set-up process.
