The use of "Bank" role in BP and Bank Hierarchy in S/4 HANA Cloud

Hello

I found an article about BP role Bank and Bank hierarchy but could not imagine the actual use case of these. Is there any case that required this feature within scope item BFA and BFB area in S/4 HANA Cloud?

Hi @EitaroYoshikawa, Thanks for the question! The bank hierarchy function in the Manage Bank Accounts - Bank Hierarchy View app allows customers to view banks in a hierarchical structure. This allows for a clear understanding of the relationship between different banks and bank groups. The hierarchy is constructed using business partners. And for this hierarchy to work, you have to assign banks with risk business partners and the role "Bank" (TR0703). If a bank is not assigned to a business partner with this role, it will not appear in the hierarchy.
