the usage of additional measures in app manage KPI and report

when we create KPI and set it semantics we know the field "additional measures". Who can teach me how to use this filed and give me an example.

Here's the information the experts have provided.

Additional Measures: You can choose an additional set of measures for the KPI from the value help for the Additional Measures field. All measures available in the entity set are available for selection in the value help for Additional Measures field. The formatting applied to the main measure (Value Measure) applies to the additional measures at runtime. For example, if you have defined Percent as scaling and 0.0 as decimal precision for the main measure, then the same holds true for the additional measures you've defined.

Thanks for your response. But I still wondering where can i use additional measure or the purpose of this field. Could you provide me any use case? For example, to analysis sales profit margin, i set profit margin as main measure and sale volume and profit margin radio as addition measure. Where can these additional measure effect? or where can i use these two additional measure and what can i use them for?
