The Handling unit is serial no assigned with hence Counting through LI20 no

Hi Friends ,

I happen to face a strange situation whiel trying to post differences through LI20 for Material which has serial no .

Error was "Handling unit is serial no assinged ,not possible to count the differences "

how this error could be fixed any idea ?

For this purpose you cant use the WM inventory transactions.

You have to use transactions from HUINV01 to HUINV05 to report differences.

Hi All ,

Thanks for the Ansewr ,

But the correct process is as under

1) LI01n ,invn document creation

2) LI02n ,Activation,throws error still enter

3) know go for LMB51 and include the inv document and process

$) it would show counted

6) later you can go for LI11 for unused or lost Hus

7) posting the difference s/ writning off /Clearing off bin by LI20

8)Later on with LT10 for moving the stocks /unused Hus to 999 lost and found

9) then comes HUINV01 for lost hUs

10) HUINV03 for including zero count

11) HUINV05for posting the idifferences

finallay Equimet should be attched status LOST with AVLB
