The delivery date in the schedule line of the sales order item is appearing incorrectly.

In Public cloud We have created a new plant, 5002. However, when I create a sales order from this plant, the delivery date in the item’s schedule line is incorrect. For example, if I create a sales order on 13.09.2025, the delivery date is automatically set to 17.09.2025. If I use any other plant, the delivery date is correct. Please suggest a solution.

The system calculates the confirmed delivery date in the schedule line by running delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling. The calculation uses:

  • Shipping point lead times (picking/packing time, loading time)
  • Route transit time (if a route is determined)
  • Transportation lead time
  • Factory calendar for the plant and shipping point

If plant 5002 is new, it’s very likely that:

  • The shipping point assigned to plant 5002 has default lead times (e.g., 2 days picking + 2 days loading), or
  • The route determination for plant 5002 → customer is assigning a route with a transit time of 4 days, or
  • The factory calendar for plant 5002 has non‑working days between 13.09.2025 and 17.09.2025, which pushes the first possible goods issue date forward.

That’s why you see a 4‑day gap for plant 5002, but not for other plants.
