I NEED TO CHANGE THE FISCAL YEAR INTO 2022--------

NOW IN T.CODE = OMSY

WHILE TRYING TO CHANGE THE YEAR INTO 2022 ------GETTING ERROR

IN T.CODE = OB52

IN T.CODE = OBY6

IN T.CODE = MM02

Hi Ragesh

I think your step is almost finish, if you try to move the period backward in OMSY, you needed to clear or reset the transaction records on your Company Code. Here are the steps:
1. Deactivate the Material Ledger using SE38 and Execute this program SAPRCKMJX. choose the plant/valuation area that assigned to the company code 
2. If you cannot deactivate the Material Ledger, because there are active records on system. in order to clear this use OBR1 to reset all the transaction data.
3. then go to OMX1 for deactivate the material ledger by untick the Valuation Area that assigned to the company codes 
4. Remove the assignment of Company code to Plant using OX18
5. Then go to OMSY to change the period for the Company Code
6. Then assign of company code to plant again. 
7. Activate the Material Ledger using OMX1 again and run the  CKMSTART

BUT REMEMBER THE CONSEQUENCES, THIS WILL CAUSE THE DATA MISSING OR INCONSISTENCIES.

Hello Ragesh,

If you want to open a previous period in MM via OMSY, although its not advisable but if your business need it then do it via following steps -

1 - Remove the assignment of Company code to Plant

2 - Change the period

3 - Do the assignment of company code to plant again.

I am not sure but you trying to change year from 2023 to 2022 in OMSY but WHY? Please note for a system OMSY set up done once and for ALL.

If you just testing- just remove all your SPRO assignments company code and valuation area(OX18) along with all set up from OMWD,OBY6 and OKKP, and finally OMSY.

Perhaps helpful but do not try these above steps in any production system or related to any business systems. Fr more refer OMSY
