Hi Experts. There are rumors among SAP B1 competitors that SAP B1 can handle only about 2500 invoices per day. My question is “From a technical standpoint, can SAP B1 handle loading up to 10,000 invoices per day, where each invoice contains an average of 10 inventory items (i.e., around 100,000 records per day), given that the database is SQL Server and invoices are loaded via API in daily time intervals?”
Request clarification before answering.
Hi!
I already saw B1 working without issues in a retailer store in Brazil, working with a number of invoices close to what you have, including the generation of fiscal documents with the government. In the end it all relates to how much do you have available for you environment itself.
Additionaly, I would say that it would be better to have it running on HANA instead of SQL Server, but you should be aware that it increases the investment needed on hardware so you can take full profit over HANA capabilities.
As Johan also said, it is best to first get demonstrations from your partner so you can get the best resource for your needs.
Cheers,
Luiz.
