Tcode MD01 and MD03

Hi ,

What is the functional difference between the MD01 AND MD03 transaction .

Also explain MD20 and MD21 Tcode.

I need to prepare the end user manuel for the same.

MD01---Creating custumer Record

MD03-- Displaying Custumer Record

MD20--Creating Planning file entries used in creating MRP

profile

MD21--displaying Planning file entries

I don't thinkt Md01 md03 are anywhere linked to customer records.pls correct

hi

if u take MD01----it is used to run MRP(Material Requirement Planning)

where as MD03 -- it is Single item single level means take BOM(Bill of Material)

hi,

Md01- mrp run based on scope of planning, that means, Key with which you can combine a group of plants or MRP areas in a scope of planning

That at a time u can run mrp for all plants which are in scope of planning

Md02- it is used for particular one material of one plant

Md20- creating planning file entry(carring out the planning run in MRP).

Md21- display planning file entry.
