TCODE IB52 serial number 000123 does not exist for material 123-3. Message no IS137

TCODE IB52 when I try to remove a serialized component from an Install Base the systems throws up the following message “Serial number 000000000000002422 does not exist for material 123-3. Message no. IS137”.

The serial number exists, I can view it in IQ02 and IQ09.

Process works for alpha-numeric serialized components.

Diagnosis

The serial number that you have entered for the material does not exist in your system.

Enter a valid serial number.
