In the midst of processing the Cyclic Data Bulletin to update our TaxFactory system from Cyclic J to Cyclic J2 I encountered 83 rejected transactions and associated unsuccessful record updates in the Update and Maintenance Output reports, respectively. This is after updating the TaxFactory Client to J2, as per the normal process, but before applying any Regulatory Bulletin updates. The system is on Bulletin 112.
This the first time I've ever encountered any unsuccessful record updates when applying a Cyclic bulletin, so I'm uncertain as to why it should happen this time. Has anyone else experienced this with this particular Cyclic update? Is it a known issue that I missed a notice about? Or is there a minimum Regulatory bulletin level I should have applied first? Failing that, any pointers as to how to go about troubleshooting it?

Cyclic Update J2 appears to really want some combination of earlier Regulatory Updates and possibly also Cyclic J1 to be installed first. So, after restoring from database backup, I followed this import order with success:
Sync to the backend and testing of PA30/ESS were all successful after this.
