Tax Simplifier Statement in ESS

How can we view Tax simplifier statement in ESS. What are the services involved from the portal side. We are on EHP-5 and necessary business functions are activated. We are on Webdynpro for JAva and do not have Adobe document services configured.

Hi,

HCM_LOC_CI_32: Income Tax Declaration - ESS India (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 4 for ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management (EA-HR 604), business function HCM, Localization Topics for India (HCM_LOC_CI_32), you can use the new Income Tax Declaration - ESS solution. Activating this solution enables employees to submit their savings details and other IT declarations through a web application in the Enterprise Portal. The system reads and processes these details for payroll processing. Using the solution,

• Employees can create and process the following type of requests:

• Section 80

• Section 80C

• Previous employment details

• Housing

• Approvers can display, change, reject or approve the above mentioned requests. The approvers can keep a record of the proposed and actual contributions made by an employee towards different income tax sections. For example Section 80.

  To perform the same, the following objects are available in the system: 

• HR-IN: Batch program for Income From Other Sources (Housing) (HINIS240) report

• INPS: Infotype Update Report for Advanced Claims(HINUINFU) report

• ESS: Tax Declaration Details  (ESSTD) constant

• Configure the Declaration Document and PDF File Format(40GAD) feature
