Tax code on level 224

Dear Gurus,

I am facing the following problem which contains the error message"DEFINE TAX CODE ON LEVEL 224" WITH THE MESSAGE NO:FS780. I have maintained my new tax code in FTXP in the following way:

BED 100.000 180(Levl) 120(from level)

ecs 2.000 217 212

sec 1.000 222 212

vat 12.500 320 224

When i am saving the above things, it is throwing the above error...........plz help me.

Hi,

Seems you have defined Sub Total on 224 level. Check the from and to levels of 224. It should sum up BASB + BED+ ECS + SEC.

Hi,

There should not be any problem if you define your from and to levels properly. Check once again the levels. I couldn't get you why you are calculating ECS and SEC on level 212 where as BED is defined on level 180.

Are you using jurisdiction codes?

sorry Mallik,

I am just blank...............its a serious problem coming on my way......u r right how i am changing the level...................but whenever i am gng to define the rates in FTXP the levels are coming by default............................How i can put those in a single level........................

Hi,

These levels are defined in the Tax Procedure, you cannot change them while creating the Tax Code. It's a one time process. Modify your tax procedure to calculate the taxes correctly.
