Tables for Release strategies

Hi ...

I was referring to MM table doc , in that it is mentioned table EBELN & EBELP are for Purchase Order header / Line and BANFN & BNFPO are for PR header/ Line.

But for release strategy ...people told me to refer CEKKO for PO and CEBAN for PR.

does it mean that release strategy refers to different tables for execution ( and I believe these tables are used for release strategy purpose only and if Yes then at what point PO / PR data gets updated in these tables)

Dear Friend,

EKKO and CEKKO r 2 different tables and if u assign CEKKO only the system communicates the message to release.Same as in the case of PR also.

C stands for communication.

Se11 might be one transaction ..... One could also get that detail thru SE12.

use T-code SE11

and then Enter CEBAN/ CEKKO in Data type and then Display (F7)

Thx for your replies ... I wanted to see the fields available in those commnication structures ( like all fields available in CEKKO which can used for conditions for PO approval).

From which transaction I can see fields of structures

I think you are asking about the table in which Release documents are stored....

If my understanding is right....then the answer is EKAB

Hi Suresh,

For release strategy Standard SAP uses the following communication strctures:

CEKKO for PO and CEBAN for PR.

these are not tables but Communication strctures. These are referred when you define the release strategy for PO / PR for defining the Characterstics.

Please go through Release strategy in SAP library.
