System Creating Reservation instead of PO

Hello All Experts, 

One question, currently for Network-Materials system is creating Reservation instead of PO. 

What settings/configuration I need to do or required, so that system will start creating PO and not Reservation. 

Business wants PO to be created for Network-Material. 

Expert's guidance will be appreciated.

When you assign a component to a NWA you specify the Procurement Type which controls how the system reacts to this component.  It can create a reservation, PR, etc.

In configuration the Procurement Type is created in OPS8, it's under Project System, Material, Procurement.

The default procurement type is specified in the Network Profile.

Creating a PO directly is not an option, PS can only create PRs directly, you can automate the conversion from PR to PO through MM.

Hi Tanuj;

There is no configuration that makes the system create a PO instead of a purchase requisition. What you can do is automatically create the purchase order from the purchase requisition. In this case, seek assistance from the MM specialist.
