Supply area is WM managed but not extended for EWM Production Supply Area

Hi,

To manage material supply to production, we use SAP NJIT – Supply to Production.

When creating control cycles for a specific material, I also define the Production Supply Area and the Destination Storage Bin where the material should be delivered. However, I receive the following error message:

"Supply area is WM managed but not extended for EWM - Production Supply Area"

Any support or guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Can you help with steps being followed to replicate the issue also if you can help if this is WM or EWM managed and if the PSA control cycle strategy type used to help better

thank you for the comment.

The destination supply area is in a storage location that is EWM managed. At least this is the goal. I assume there is a path in the customizing that I am not aware of that prevents this assignment from being correct. The issue is probable in the customizing related to the integration between the Core and EWM. 
The error message is NJIT_O_MSG023 in case this information helps you.

Yet I haven't been able to solve the problem.

When I try to create a Kanban control cycle with PK01, SAP also wants me to submit a WM storage type. Although it should be an EWM storage type.
