supplier/vendor master data fields to capture diversity

Hello,

We are kicking off an initiative to elevate supplier diversity, which entails identifying and cataloging our suppliers based on certain criteria.  Is there an area in the supplier master record to capture this information which we can then report on?  Is it something OOB or could we repurpose fields to capture the data?

If we were to use a 3rd party service to capture this info and wanted to feed some of the data points into the supplier master data, could we do that via an API or would we use an upload template?

yes, there is already a nice solution from SAP, it is called supplier evaluation. There are various ways to evaluate and analyze your supplier based on defined criteria.

In the SAP Fiori Library you will find the various suitable apps that can be considered for your system.
