What are the ways to submit VAT Return to the tax authorities with ELSTER?

Currently there are two ways to submit a VAT Return to the tax authorities:

1.) electronic submission (generated XML-file is being sent directly from S/4HC to the tax authorities) via iFlow’or via localization hub

2.) manual submission (customer has to download the generated XML-file and import it manually into Elster)

Hey all,
could you please describe the electronic transmission option in more detail or provide a set up instruction? Are there now other options for electronic transmission apart from integration via SAP Document and Reporting Compliance?
