Storage type search with wildcard: No entry found for item 10

Hi Experts,

In Manage outbound Delivery Orders app, in create pick warehouse task, getting this error 

"Storage type search with wildcard: No entry found for item 10" 

1. configured the storage type search sequence for removal, assigned the storage type to the sequence, set up the removal indicator, determine the storage type search sequence for removal and optimise access strategies.

2. assigned the removal indicator to product in Manage product master -> warehouse view.

3. this works perfectly fine for SAP created storage type using storage type templates but not for the one created manually. replicated the same steps steps SAP used while creating the template but this does not work.

Your configuration is correct, but SAP’s standard templates include default settings that are easy to miss when replicating manually. The issue likely resides in one of the following:

• A missing or misaligned customizing indicator in the manually created storage type.

• The storage type not properly linked in the removal search sequence or access strategy.

• A stock/bin availability constraint prevents task creation.

I recommend cross-checking your custom storage type against a working SAP template at the field level in SPRO, including both storage type and removal strategies.
