storage location field greyed out for the delivery item

i am creating a delivery for an item with the sales order BOM.

but in the delivery for the sub items the storage location field is greyed out. and for the same item category and material if i create the delivery when the item is not part of the BOM item it works fine.

any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

The storage location field is disabled in the sales order when a subsequent document exists.

Hi, the issue got resolved with the SAP Note 3054191 - storage location and delivery quantity cannot be changed

There are a couple of factors that can effect this. 

Can you check table LIPS for the Delivery and check what is maintained in Field KOMKZ (Picking indicator) for BoM Header and Components?

Hi Jignesh, it is relevant for picking. and as i mentioned the same material with item category and schedule line catg works fine if it is not part of BOM

Can you check the BoM in T-Code CS03 and verify if the (Item Category) ICt is maintained as L for Components?
