Hello All,
I m checking Ls24. I m getting "list contains no data" but in material master "storage master is showing.
And what is quant.
Thanks in Advance
You are mixing up the terminology a little bit.
The bin in MM03, which you see in General Plant Data / Storage 1 is used for GR/GI slips (when you print goods material documents). This bin is applicable when you do not use WMS, but only Inventory Management.
In LS24 you specify a WMS bin (a bin that you can display in LS03N) and if you restrict the display in LS24 via bin selection, you will only see the stock of the specific material in this warehouse if it is available in the bin which you entered in the selection screen.
Considering that you are asking what a quant means - it is possible that you do not use WMS at all (otherwise you will be familiar with the term).
In simple words, the quant is a quantity of a specific material located in a given WM bin in the warehouse. This quantity has certain common characteristics, - stock type, plant, storage location, batch, special stock, etc..
By the way, if you do not know the meaning of a SAP term - use transaction SAPTERM or search via this site: http://sapterm.com/

Jyoti Pathak Which field you mean by bin location?
The fixed bin (MGLT-LGPLA), the picking area (MGLT-KOBER), something else?
LS24 will show you the bins where you have stock of a specific material, just because you have maintained a fixed bin in the master data it does not mean that you have stock of this material in it.
As I mentioned - not necessarily. For example, I may have a fixed bin maintained in storage type 005, but it can be that I have no stocks there and that my stocks are in storage type 998 or any other storage type. Or it can be that I have no stocks at all.
If you want to view the fixed bin and what is in it - use LX03 or LS03N.
