Hi All,
when Goods receipt is posted for the inbound delivery created from STO inspection lot is created. We don't want to create inspection lot for STO inbound delivery as the batch was already inspected and confirmed in the another plant.
I am working on S4 Hana embedded system 2023. I changed inspection lot summary with Batch/Product in material master but still its creating inspection lot.
Kindly Advise how to stope the IL creation.

Hi Chand Basha.S,
you might want toc check SAP notes 3284686 (Stock Transfer with EWM and Quality Management) and 3264621 (Stock transfer from plant to plant creates inspection lot with origin 01).
I assume your material has active inspection type 08 in both plants. I assume inspection type 08 shall be active as well in receiving plant. is it? If not your problem would be solved if you would deactivate inspection type 08 in the receiving plant.
As next step you could check the "SAP Knowledge Base Article" in SAP note 3271931 (Inspection lot with origin 17 is created despite QM is deactivated for movement type in OMJJ) which contains hints how to suppress inspection lot creation.
Also interesting for you might by following customer influence request we are currently working on: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/320456.
Best regards,
Matthias

Hey,
I had a similar issue. We were able to complete this by de-selecting the Post-Quality flag on the material master. In /SCWM/QRSETUP, you can set records that if it is received by business partner of the plant or sloc then enter unrestricted use stock type. Then a record that says if received by any business partner it is received into quality.
This worked for us. The stock type on the delivery will show as unrestricted use. However, it will flip into quality upon GR and it will trigger an inspection lot creation. We also used POSC to determine quality bin for goods receipt. The only issue we couldn't get passed was un-triggering this POSC if it was received via STO. However, we had a manual process that allowed for this because STO materials were received to a different part of the warehouse then regular inbound. So it was easy for the clerk to determine that this did not go to quality area. Regardless if it did, it would not create an inspection lot because /SCWM/QRSETUP triggered the receiving business partner.
Hope this helps.

Greetings,
you need to deactivate QM for STO according to movement type. Follow SPRO path:
SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Inspection Lot Creation -> Inspection for Goods Movements

Hi,
SPRO path: SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Inspection Lot Creation -> Inspection for Goods Movements is not evaluated on an EWM managed storage location of you work with inbound deliveries. See also customer influence request: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/320456
