Stop Benefit Deductions when Pay Date is in the following month

Hello all,

We have benefit premiums that are monthly, taken on the first and second pay of the month. If there is a third pay, no premiums are deducted. When benefits are terminated and the pay date is in the month following benefits termination, no premiums should be deducted.

For example,

Pay period 06-2020 is from February 24 to March 8

Pay date for PP06 is March 13

Some benefits (not all) are terminating on February 28. Since the pay date covering Feb 28 is in the following month, no premiums should be taken.

I have been looking at the parameters of function P0167 (and P0168), but none of them are giving me the required results. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm hoping to not have to go the route of having our ABAPer create a custom function with a custom parameter.
