Dear Experts,
We are facing a scenario where users, after checking a couple of batches for the quality of incoming materials from the vendor, want to stop inspecting further batches from that vendor. Therefore, they deactivate the inspection type in the material master by making 01 inspection type inactive. However, they currently have to manually change the stock type of open purchase orders and inbound delivery to "Unrestricted" from "Quality."
Is there any way to automate this process, so that whenever the 01 inspection type is deactivated, the stock type of open purchase orders and inbound deliveries is changed to "Unrestricted"?
Any technical or functional insights are highly appreciated.

Hello pradeepkumar21
As per my knowledge there isn't any standard functionality that would cover your requirement. The reason being that you manually take a decision to skip inspecting and deactivate 01 inspection type in a material master data.
However, you can use Dynamically Modifying the Inspection Scope functionality to automatically skip inspecting after a certain number of positive usage decisions.
