Stock Transport Order

Hi,

We are using UB Document Type for Stock Transport Order for Transfer Posting of Goods where Freight Charges are added. Goods are issuing from Supplying Plant through Movement Type 351. Goods are received at Receiving Plant through Movement Type 101 into Quality Inspection stock. Once the Goods are Inspected, accepted material are taken into Unrestricted Use Stock, and the Rejected Stock are taken into Blocked Stock. Now we want to send back the Rejected Stock from Received Plant Blocked Stock to the Supplied Plant Blocked Stock where again Freight Charges are added.

Can we use the STO to send the material back to Supplied Plant. System is not allowing the Goods Issue from Blocked stock to STO.

Ok,

At the time of GR use mvt 103 to take the receipt in GR Blocked stock.

From GR Blocked stock return the material Via delivery tick indicator in GR mvt 124.

You go ahead and use STO. No problem with that

Tried the scenario, system is not allowing the Movement Type 124.

Any other options?

Hello Ravi ,

Could you please try the following steps :

1. Select the in MIGO business transaction from drop down --Return Delivery

2. Select the MM document posted during the goods receipt to GR blocked stock.

3.In item detail , under quantity tab change the quantity you want to post back to vendor .

See the PO history will be updated and the goods movement can be seen here .

Hi Shashank,

The scenario related to Stock Transport Order. If it is Standard Goods Receipt Process then we can send return the goods to the vendor through return delivery, here in STO we need to return the goods from Blocked stock of the received plant to the blocked stock of the supplied plant.

Regret for late reply !

To my knowledge the return delivery and scrapping movements can be posted from any stock type ,

other then this the stock can only be posted out from unrestricted use .

So you need make the process like from blocked to unrestricted of receiving and then returns to issuing blocked ?
