is it possible to stock transfer from one of vendor to other vendor .

if possible than can u tell configuration for it..

Hi,

You want to transfer stock from one vendor to another

1. directly tranfering stock from one vendor to anothe is not possible with one movement type.

2. Vendor stock is at plant level and your own sotck in at plant/ storage location level.

3. when you see the stock in MMBE then you will find you own sotck at storage locatio level but the vendor stock will be at plant level.

4. you have to do MB1B / MIGO 542 movement type and Take stock from vendor to you plant / storage location and then Perform MB1B / MIGO 541 to tranfer stock from your plant / storage location to another Vendor.

5. when you tranfer stock from vendor stock to your own stock you dont have to define you vendor as plant.

For STO senario you treat you plant as vendor and not vendor as plant.

This is posssible in the case of Third party order

Here we transfer the goods directly from Vendor to another vendor(customer)

This is also possible in the case of subcontracting

When we dont have the material to send to the subcontract vendor then we can raise a PO with another vendor and we check the SC vendor in the delivery address in itemdetails

But in this case the stock will be shown in our stock details as stock provided to sc vendor

You cannot transfer stock from one vendor to another directly. For this, first you should perform MB1B / MIGO 542 movement type and Take stock from vendor and then Perform MB1B / MIGO 541 to another Vendor

It is not possible to stock transfer directly from one vendor to another. you have to first take it in your own sotck then again transfer it to second vendor.

when I want to transfer the goods from vendor to my plant, the vendor should be act as a plant, so what is the customization for that??

is this settings we have to do in partner function or anywhere else??
