We want to post partial quantity of Quality Stock to Unrestricted, partial quantity to Scrap, but we are not seeing any storage location corresponding to "Scrap" stock. Can anyone suggest how to post partial stock to "Scrap" and how to enable a Storage location for Scrap in QA11 screen.
Scrap field never has any storage location and it should never be. Anything that you post to Scrap is meant for scrapping the quantity which means reduction from inventory. Could you please let us know your business process? What you do further with scrapped quantity?
If you open the respective screen in the screen painter, you will see that there is no provision for a storage location in the scrap field. You can try to use exit EXIT_SAPMQEVA_001 to create your own logic.
Thanks for your suggestion. Now i can see storage location for "Unresctricted, Blocked " stock types. Can you please suggest how to get a Storage location for "Scrap" in QA11 with out user exit.
