We have a situation where we have had to put some serialized parts on a rework production order. When we are trying to bring them back into stock, we're getting a message that says "Stock data of serial number not suitable for movement." I'm guessing that this is because this serial number had existed in stock before (since this is a rework of an existing material/serial number.) We need to receive this back into stock using this same serial number. How is that possible?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I actually read those before posting but didn't think that either sounded like our situation. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
We figured it out...the problem is that the correct serial numbers weren't GI'd to the workorder so they were actually still in stock. Once we fixed this we were able to receive them back in.
Thanks again for your help.

Hello,
Please Open the serial number in IQ02 and check the History, there you can find if there is any delivery done last month or previous by using same Sold to party's, if yes ask to check the serial number which have physically, And check IQ02 currently how many serial are assigned to that material with the status of ESTO. and took the correct one which is available and assigned to concern delivery number.
Thank you,
Kavin KP
