STO creation with Quality/Blocked stock type

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to allow intra/intercompany stock transfer from quality stock type. I understand this feature is available in SPM as described in KBA-3390111 but , I came accross another consulting note -3390689 in which it is mentioned that this process will work without errors only of the stock in quality stock type is not linked to an inspection lot for non EWM managed storage location.

My client belong to F&B industry and there it is quite common to have stock moved with the SC network in quality stock type for below reasons:-
1. Quality results usually take time and for that period the stock cannot be stored in factory due to space constraints.

2. in the DC to stock will in quality stock type which ensures this stock is not delivered to customer also stock in quality stock type is considered as available in stock for Supply planning purpose. 

Have you encountered such requirement from your clients and if yes, how have you addressed them.

With some below workarounds, you can try

You can post the Q-stock manually to quality status with movement types like 322 or 344 without triggering an inspection lot. This will allow the system to treat it as "available for planning" but not blocked by QM processes
In SPRO for QM in MM, deactivate inspection lot creation for movement types like 301 or 303/305. This prevents automatic inspection lot creation during STO, allowing Q-stock to move freely.
