Std Bapi used to close the PO, not closing the PO line items if any one line item in a PO has GR

We have developed a custom program to close the open PO"s which are overdue using standard BAPI " BAPI_PO_CHANGE" by marking the delivery completed indicator for each line items based on the delivery expiry date passed.  But what we have observed is the open purchase order line items are not closed if any one line item in the PO has GR done. 

Is this a standard SAP behavior or any enhancement can be done to close the open PO line items, if the different line item of same PO had GR done

So you apply somethong such as preocess described in Reducing Purchase Order Commitments to Zero)

• Did you get warning or information messages in the RETURN table?
• Is every receipt invoiced?
