How to maintain, create or remove product/material types on S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition?

This was done in SSCUI 100306 - Configure Product Types, however this seems not to be available anymore since 2502 update

Hi there,

Please use SSCUI 103539 instead.

The SSCUI 100306 - Configure Product became obsolete on 2502 update.

Its successor is the SSCUI 103539 "Define Attributes of Material Types", which has been available since 2005 release.

Note: Material Type and Product Type are the same thing.

To create a new Product Type you have to copy an existing one.
In the following are the steps to create a new Product Type:

1. Open the App Manage Your Solution
2. select Configure Your Solution
3. search for the SSCUI 103539 "Define Attributes of Material Types"
4. Press Configure button
5. Select a Product Type, for example FERT
6. Click on "Copy As..." button
7. Input the new Product type information
8. Click on "Copy"
